Spring has sprung and this is a great time to bring the feeling of spring into your home! Since many of us have seasonal allergies, I’m talking about the option to bring spring in without sneezing or watery eyes: throw pillows. Pillows are a great way to brighten up the home and add some seasonal color without breaking the bank. I have collected a small handful of some of my favorite selections for your convenience and shopping pleasure. Just click on any of the images below for purchasing information.
I love this botanical motif from West Elm. The blues and greens are especially spring-like and the detail and craftsmanship are amazing at this price point.
Last week I discussed decorating with green, and this pillow from Crate & Barrel really provides a great injection of the color. I especially love to use a solid colored pillow in a larger size behind a pillow with pattern. So imagine this pillow behind the pillow above…so pretty!
This embroidered pillow from Pottery Barn has some great colors – albeit slightly muted – that would enhance most spaces. You can use it “alone” as a fifth pillow on your couch or in a chair.
Another great lumbar sized pillow is from Pier One and has a beautiful embroidered flower on it. I just love the neutral background with the detail of the yellow floral – this is a great way to keep springtime flowers in your home without having to water them!
I’m really enjoying the multi colored options that are available. The colors are vibrant and happy – perfect for springtime. These are so cute and so reasonably priced, I am tempted to pick up a couple of these for my own house this spring!
Keep in mind that some of the pillows above are just the pillow covers. If you invest in a pillow form once, you can rotate the covers as many times as you wish. No matter whether they are pillow covers or “total” pillows, all of the selections above have “happy” colors that reflect the freshness of springtime. So head on out to your favorite retail shopping solution and pick up some pillows for your springtime seasonal decorating update!
