All January, I have been sharing organization ideas for the home. I think January is the best time of year to start with a clean slate for the new year, de-clutter and get things more organized. To keep with this theme, here are a few more ideas on some organizing and storage solutions for different areas of your home.

Find a decorative box to stash your makeup. Simply close the box and your mess is hidden. Here is my personal storage box, and I’m even giving you a peek inside. 😉
My personal favorite organizational tip for makeup brushes is a low vase filled with coffee beans. It’s pretty, inexpensive and functional! What could be better?
Apothecary jars make for clean, visible, easy-to-access storage. They work perfect in the bathroom for storing items like cotton balls, soap, swabs, bath salts and more.
Purchase a Media Console that doubles as storage. They can provide the ultimate in storage versatility with shelves (often removable), drawers, cabinets and even bookcases. You can find them in a variety of colors, sizes and designs. Check out the sale Crate & Barrel has going on right now.
Bedside tables with doors or drawers work great for hiding items….AND, they have holes drilled in the back of the top drawer so you can pull cords through / add a power strip and hide your charging station!
These cubes are awesome for storage on the top shelves of closets. I switch mine out with the seasons (bathing suits are stored during the winter and scarves, hats and gloves in the summer, etc.). They also work great for general storage in any area of your home, including the living room, family room or home office.
