Who doesn’t love to accessorize? Finding the right accessories is an important element when decorating your home. Whether you’re looking to add an extra pop of color or maybe texture, find items that work with the design of each room as a way to accentuate the look you’re going for. Here are a few of the decorative home accessories that I happen to love and that you’ll find around my home.

Succulent Spheres – Z Gallerie has some great succulent balls. I love these because they have an authentic look to them, they can last for years and work great for both inside and outside décor. They’ve been created to look like actual succulents with different textures and colors so you can group them together or add them to other arrangements.
Coffee Table Books – I LOVE BOOKS! Hard cover books from Barnes & Noble about things like fashion, Texas and art are a few you can find on my coffee table and other areas of my home. Not only do they add a sophisticated element to your décor, but they make for great reading and visuals for your guests to enjoy. I don’t even mind buying used because I love to stack them everywhere!

Candles – Jonathan Adler candles (the ones that look like the face) are my favorite. Not only do they bring a nice scent to the room, a little bit of whimsey, but they also add a warm and cozy touch of ambience.
Mirrors – I absolutely love the Dubois vintage, rustic handcrafted mirrors. They add a level of character and antique appeal to your décor. I’ll hang them in pairs, triple (above a bed) or even four in a square to take up more space on the wall. Just make sure they are reflecting something attractive!
Photo Frames – I am a fan of using a single color photo frames throughout the house, but IN LIMITED QUANTITIES. It helps to keep a consistent look throughout if you stick with one color.
Storage Boxes – Z Gallerie carries Ming and Bodega boxes, which are stylish wooden boxes that work great to hide remote controls and other items in. I even use them to store my makeup in, which you can see in our “A Clean Slate For Your Organizing And Storage Solutions” blog.
Now get out there and accessorize!
