This time of year we all, usually, have some type of family or personal tradition that make the holidays that much more special for us. They may change as we get older but for the most part they are always celebrated with the people we love! Traditions can come in all sizes, from big family vacations to putting up the tree the day after Thanksgiving, or sharing the table and eating a special dish that your grandma makes every year.
My family traditions have always been simple but meaningful. We used to decorate the tree together as a family, mom, dad and my (fraternal) twin brothers. When I was younger, my mom and I enjoyed coming up with new themes for the tree and now we have evolved into a coastal Christmas tree with beautiful blues and fun seashell ornaments. While I currently live in Dallas, I grew up on the coast, my parents still live there and it will forever be home.

Our ML Interiors Group Facebook page recently shared how our team decorated their own personal Christmas trees this year. I wasn’t going to put one up this year but decided, IT’S CHRISTMAS and I have to, even if we are traveling through the holiday! My style is boho / rustic / chic and this year was the first time that my boyfriend…NOW fiancé (insert happy dance here, haha) put up a christmas tree together! (awww).

Best night of my life!! Here are a few pictures from that magical night!
