Coffee Tables are a staple piece of furniture that act as the focal point of almost every living room. With that kind of attention, they most certainly deserve some love when it comes to decor, and we want to walk you through specifically how to decorate a round coffee table (although most of these tips can adapt to most coffee table shapes). Thankfully, your space can usually be spruced with items that you already have. If not… well then we just gave you a reason to go shopping. (You’re welcome.)
Three Simple Steps On:

We are firm believers that fresh greenery can make any space happier and healthier (hello fresh oxygen in a home is a good thing!). So regardless of the type of greenery, head to your local market. Or, if you are lucky enough, your front or back yard. Adding height and color is key when creating a floral arrangement. Also, queue the triangle shape for your table. You’ll see what I mean by step 3.

Say it with me: “coffee table books”. These babies not only fill empty space but they are also gorgeous when you have the right ones. Be sure to place them in the continual triangle form. This helps balance the round shape of the coffee table. Also, be sure not to go overboard with the books. A maximum of should be good, you don’t need a tower of books.

“Add a simple layer” may seem vague, but this is where you get to be creative. A square tray is a good base for this step (again breaking up that circular shape), but what you add on top is where you can have some fun. Some beads. A new candle. A box with coasters (or to hide your remote control!). This is up to you and what is functional for your home/space. As long as your three steps are placed in a ∇ shape. You will be good to go!

Other items you can incorporate are candles, bowls, decorative stones, and so forth. And if you have a coffee table you’d like to show off, be sure to gat us at #MLInteriorsGroup to show us your finished project!
