In this California Casual project, adding a vintage look to a contemporary staircase adds warmth and coziness to the home.

Runners add more than just the pretty part to a staircase- runners provide protection to natural wood and also absorbs sound in this two story foyer. Plus, you don't slide down the stairs in socks.
.
We added subtle accents of navy paired with black throughout the home to transition the bold black and white finishes with the natural textiles in the furnishings.
.
We always partner with an expert installer - they make the correct cuts in the material to line up the pattern to the curve of the steps, saving our clients time and money.

In this luxury property in the Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas, we used a very light and neutral color palette. Therefore, performance fabrics are a must in this contemporary design. Lighter colors surrounding a dining area call for easy-clean fabrics. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Custom furniture means more than picking out a special fabric. We added 4 inches to the back of counter stools to create the perfect size "chair" for this counter height dining room. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Using two Kudo horns that are adorned with a metal mosaic design added custom art and a touch of the Mister's love of hunting to the contemporary style of the dining room.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And finally, putting a glass top on a dining table helps protect the wood in a busy household and makes for easy clean up, no matter what the style. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
