What?! Mistakes? Aren’t mistakes BAD? What is so motivating about mistakes that a whole post is dedicated? I do whatever I can to avoid mistakes!
Are those the thoughts running through your mind as you read the title today? Possibly. But what if you turn the idea of “mistakes are bad” to “mistakes are good”? Try that on for size.
Mistakes mean you’re trying new things and pushing your own boundaries and limits.

Proof You’re Trying
Mistakes are not bad unless you repeat the same mistake over and over. If you are doing something – anything – and make a mistake, learn from it, revise your approach and try again. This is applicable in any area of life: business, sports, relationships, etc.

Your Best Teacher
A mistake is not failure. Failure is making a mistake and not learning from it. Failure is making a mistake and repeating it. Failure is making a mistake and not trying again. Mistakes are a tool to growth and learning – so give yourself permission to make mistakes because if you’re not making mistakes, you’re not making anything. Right? Think about that for a moment. Yeah. That is a nugget of genius, if I do say so myself.

Making Mistakes
It is impossible to live life without making mistakes, unless you are living a life so full of caution you are not living at all. So do not fear mistakes. Fear not making mistakes because you are not living to your fullest.
