My personal home is usually the absolute last space to get any of my interior desgin attention (you’ve heard that one about how the Cobbler’s kids don’t have any shoes, right?). I can usually walk into a room and see it’s potential, but since I live IN the space, sometimes it’s difficult to see my own objectively. I have found that if I’ll snap some photos, stand back and look, I will usually find inspiration.
This weekend? I was photobombed by my little fur-babies, Samson & Zoey as I tried to get a photo of our Master Bedroom.
I didn’t find anything major that I want to do in this room. I wish my curtains were hung right AT the ceiling, but can live with them until I find some replacements, or something to add to the bottom so they aren’t highwater style. I might want to paint the ceiling a different color, but haven’t decided what color just yet. So for now, this space is safe from any updates or renovations…the Hubs will be glad to hear that. But I can’t guarantee our guest bathroom is safe (I’ll keep ya posted!).
