We are so excited to reveal the finished bathroom from Project Woodcrest! We worked on remodeling and redesigning the powder bath, eat-in, kitchen, and living room. Considering the size of this project we are revealing the results in segments and we hope you love this project every step of the way!
Walking the Woodcrest space before demo, we knew that there was a lot to be done. Our clients requested a light and airy space that was not only functional for them but also for their kids!
This bathroom was a 100% gut and remodel. We started with a fresh coat of paint giving this small space a more airy, open feel, contrasted with a white patterned tile to add some character to the previously over stimulating space. To continue the open and airy feel we went with a floating vanity. This not only allowed for more storage but it also makes the space feel larger!
For the shower, we removed the peach tile, replaced the tub itself and went with a simple subway tile to line the walls. We went with black plumbing to not only add contrast but to also carry the black from the vanity into the remaining bathroom space. This creates cohesion and balance in a rather small area!
For the vanity we used black cabinetry, brushed gold pulls and a simple solid white quartz countertop. Our goal in every bathroom is to make it functional while also presentable. The bathroom is the easiest space to let go when it comes to organization. Adding closed cabinetry makes it easy to hide our every day life messes that usually end up on the counter!
When it comes to accessorizing a bathroom, simple countertop decor adds a relaxing element to the space. Fresh greenery, nice soaps, and a candle make you and your guests feel welcome!
