In October, we hosted our first ever ML Interiors Group Thanksgiving Food Drive. We partnered with Dallas Bible Church and their food pantry and we ran a local food drive where we collected different canned goods in hopes to feed a small handful of underprivileged families this holiday season. After posting what we needed and setting some friendly guidelines, we were overwhelmed by the influx of responses that we received! You, our treasured business partners, clients, friends and family were incredibly supportive and we were able to exceed our goals!
We wanted to thank you for all the time and money you spent to make our First Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive an overwhelming success. Scroll through to see how your donations were able to impact families in the Dallas area.
1. How Many Families were Fed?

We were able to feed 15 families using the donation money and goods that you provided! FIFTEEN, y’all! That is such a blessing to us to be able to provide such a meal for so many. Each box of food was hand delivered by a member of the Dallas Bible Church and we heard that it was an incredibly humbling experience.
2. What Was Included in Each Box?

Each family was given one box, but each box included the following items: Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy Mix, Two Cans of Green Beans, Two Cans of Corn, Mac & Cheese, Two Cans of Sweet Potatoes, Two Cans of Yams, Cranberry Sauce, Chicken Broth, Cream of Mushroom Soup, French Onion Topping, Marshmallows, Crackers, Jelly, and a Frozen Turkey! Many of these items were not on the original list, but your donations made this hefty list possible.
3. What are our Hopes for Next Year?

In 2018 we are hoping to double our efforts and feed around 30 families. We know that this is a big jump but we feel confident that we will be able to once again, exceed our goals. It wouldn’t have been possible without the work of those around us, so thank you again for your support. We feel thankful knowing that this Thanksgiving we were able to give back to those who are in need.
Happy Thanksgiving!
