Adding fresh Fall Florals to your home is an easy way to spruce up your home for the season! And while it is easy to “fall” for some of the most common options: yellow sunflowers, orange roses, Gerber daisies, and orange stargazer lilies, I thought we would mix things up a bit this season. We have pulled some of our designers’ favorite, unique fall florals to share with you below and I hope they become some of your favorites too….
The traditional fall colors are still our favorite. Various shades of reds, oranges, yellows, a hint of aubergine – and of course, the classic and fresh green that adorns them all. Here is a breakdown of what is tickling our style fancy this season:
This is Megan’s favorite. She loves all sunflowers, but especially the vibrant yellow and red stripes on the petals of this version. Add the purple accent on the bud as well as the stem, and she is over the moon.
2. Protea Yellow Pin Cushion Flower
This is Debbie’s current favorite fall floral. And believe it or not this flower, as unique as it is, was easy for us to PIN point the name of. Get it? Anyway, Debbie loves this flower because it adds lots of texture and color to any fall arrangement. It takes what would normally be your standard arrangement to a wow factor fall arrangement.
3. Red Daisy
Who doesn’t love a daisy? They are so happy. Which makes sense that this is Heather’s favorite fall floral. This is such a classic, but mixed with the Protea Yellow Pin Cushion flower from above and you’ve got a whole new look of a daisy! The balance between the abstract Pin Cushion and the modest daisy, really creates a relaxed but unique vibe anywhere they are paired.
Now that we have plenty of reds and yellows in the arrangement, we need the classic orange burst. And what better way to do that than by adding Kelsey’s favorite Orange Mum. Or as we say here in the states, orange moms (just joking). These flowers add fullness and a softness of color to your home. Who needs orange pumpkins lying around when you can have orange mums?
5. Red Hypericum Berries
Of course, I had to be different and insist my favorite was a berry. The Red Hypericum Berries are one of my favorites for two reasons. One, they live FOREVER, which is good for me because I can have a hard time keeping plants alive. Two, they transition easily from a Fall arrangement to a more Christmas themed arrangement. Now I don’t think they will last from Halloween to Christmas, but my point is they can be used for both! And I love that.
6. The Mystery Flower
No one in the studio could think of the name of this flower, and neither could the Google. But we all agreed it is the perfect filler and works with all of our individual favorites above. The shape of it adds height and texture to any arrangement. SO if you know the name of this gorgeous greenery, help a girl out and drop a line below.
