We have searched high and low for things to do in Dallas for Labor Day weekend, and found what we believe to be the top 6 attractions. Whether you are headed out on the town with friends or entertaining a family of four, there is something here in the Dallas area for everyone.
Below are some of my favorite events for Labor Day (and sometimes just any other day off). Click on the images to get the details.
1. The Dallas Arboretum
The Arboretum is offering $5 admission the entire weekend! This is the perfect way to spend time with the family and save some money!
2. Texas Rangers vs. LA Angels

Head to Globe Life Park as the Rangers take on the Angels Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you want to see the Star Wars Themed firework show, make sure to make it to the game Friday! (Also check out Rangers Labor Day 1k & 5k)
3. Labor of Love Home Brew Festival

Sunday, September 4th, Deep Ellum Brewing Co. is holding their 5th annual Home Brew Festival between the hours of 6pm-10pm. Entrance fee is $30 and this includes food truck accessibility, live music and home brewed beer samples from 40 different home brewers.
4. Water Gun Fight @ Klyde Warren Park

Starting at 11am on Saturday, September 3rd, your kids can take their super soakers to a new level by running around with them at Klyde Warren Park!
5. DFW Free Day of Yoga

DFW Free Day of Yoga starts Saturday, September 2nd and is being held at the Trinity River Audubon Center. Its come and go between the hours of 9am-1pm, so catch a class if you can!
6. Lake Grapevine Summer Blast

Catch the last weekend of Grapevines Summer Blast! Friday, September 1st is the last chance to see the fireworks over the lake! All boat ramps are open so feel free to make a day of it!
I am still coordinating with the Handsome Hubs and trying to decide what we want to do. There are so many options, we may work in one or more! Or. Maybe I’ll stay in our pool with a good book. What are your plans?
